The Wörschach 24-Hour Race and the Gastein 24-hour Ski-Touring Race this year present the very first

DOUBLE CHALLENGE:

If just one 24-hour race per year isn’t enough, then this is for you. Beginning in 2009, there will be a combination ranking of 2 ultra competitions. Individual competitors and teams can now battle for the prestigious title of “Double Challenge Champion”.
The first stage is the Gastein 24-hour Ski-Touring Race in March 2009, while the final leg takes place in Wörschach in July.

Divisions:

Individual: Ladies / Men
Team: Ladies / Men (mixed teams are ranked against the all-male teams)

Entry Fee:

130 Euro/participant (includes all features of the individual competitions + a special “Double Challenge” racers T-shirt.

Since the dates of the 2 competitions are 4 months apart and it is generally hard to get together the same 4 team members on both weekends, all of the teams in Wörschach are allowed to substitute up to 2 team members.

But if it still proves impossible for a team to participate in the final in Wörschach, we will refund Euro 50 per person (also applies to individual entrants).
